My October got super busy super quick. Ergo, I had no other blogs out in October. BUT! Here today is the first part of a 3 part special! Laura and I had our honeymoon in October and we did a lot of Halloweeny things in order to celebrate. In these two videos, we show you and discuss our first 2 days of our Honeymoon. This includes two studio tours and a half a day at Downtown Disney.

Spooked and Haunted

So I’ve been really busy getting married to my fiance… Excuse me, WIFE, Laura, this past month. (The ceremony was short and simple at a court house and the “reception” was at Long Horn Steakhouse.) Likewise, I’ve also been busy with my job and preparing to take on a new class at the end of October. My busy-ness isn’t going to slow down any time soon, BUT, since October is here, I feel the need. The need for HALLOWEEN!

Revenge of Halloween in June!

I refuse to let yet another June pass me by without celebrating my favorite made-up holiday! June is upon us and Halloween is months away. Well, no longer! Along with the Longbox of the Damned’s Midsummer Nightmare, I am celebrating my favorite holiday several months early, all month long! That’s right, for the first time in a long while, I vow to have at least 1 article up every day in June! The topic? Anything and everything Halloween-y.

Every day in June, I will have creepy content for you to peruse and enjoy. There will be Flicking Through Netflix articles, random reviews, top 10 lists, maybe some editorials, and so on. I even hope to have at least one video up this month!  So, consider this the official start of our month long celebration of all things macabre! Welcome back to Halloween in June! We’re bound to have a frightfully good time.

 

A Spooky Hiatus

I think this is the first time I’m officially announcing a hiatus for something. Weird.

So, a few life things have happened in my family in the last week. Namely, after a successful hip surgery in December, my grandmother had a pretty nasty fall. She’s fine now, but they did have to operate on the hip again.

What does this mean for me and, more importantly, you? Well, it’s been decided that my grandmother, when she gets out of rehab, should have some constant care for a while. Unfortunately, as it stands, my family can only really afford a day-time nurse for a few hours at a time. Thus, one of us needs to move in with her. Namely, me.

So, I’ll be moving in with my grandma for a while to help her, make sure she doesn’t slip and have another fall, etc. This means… No new Spook Factors for few months. (I’m just as disappointed as you that I’ve only had ONE fricking episode and already have to go on hiatus.)

Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable filming while living with her. It’s a quiet neighborhood with nosey neighbors. I would just rather put the show on hiatus than deal with trying to explain what stupid thing I’m doing that week. I’m not gonna let the time go to COMPLETE waste, though. I do plan on continuing my blog and drawing like I have been. I also plan on getting a head start on some other scripts (the scripting for episode 2 is already about half way done).

So, sorry, folks. But the Spook Factor’s taking a long break. But I’ll be back (hopefully) before the summer! Until next time, I’ll see you around the campfire!

Welcome to the Spook Factor!

Greetings and welcome to the very first episode of my brand new show! What is it about? Well, I’ll let the video speak for itself…

I’m really excited to be starting this new video reviewing endeavor! Please leave a comment with any thoughts or suggestions.

I’m not sure if I’m going to keep the “creepy tone” that I use in the video. Might cheer myself up a bit for the first REAL episode. On that note!

I will try my absolute hardest to have at least 1 new video up a month! My hope is to have more than one up a month. However, knowing how life gets in the way, I will only be promising up to 1 video per month. As such, expect the first official episode to come up before the month of November is up! When exactly? Don’t know yet. But soon!
